Day 1: Lima

Upon arrival at Lima international airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel, located in Miraflores the safest and nicest area of Lima.

Day 2: Tourist bus journey Lima - Paracas (3 hours)

6:20: you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the bus station to board the tourist bus to Paracas.
11:00: upon arrival in Paracas you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel.

Day 3: Boat trip to Ballestas Islands

Early morning: you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Paracas pier where you will board the motorboat to Ballestas Islands; this morning you will observe seabirds flying around, colonies of sea lions, and Humboldt penguins, on the way you will appreciate the candelabra, a pattern etched into the sand and rock of a hill!
After the boat trip you will board the tourist bus to Nasca.
11:00: Bus journey Paracas - Ica
12:00: Upon arrival in Ica, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a visit to Huacachina Oasis and have a sand dune buggy ride!

Day 4: Bus journey Ica - Nasca

11:30, you will be transferred to the bus station to board the tourist bus to Nasca.

Day 5: Flight over Nasca Lines (35 Minutes)

Morning: Flight over the fantastic Nasca Lines for panoramic views of a monkey, a fish, a spider, a hummingbird and many drawings and geometric figures on the desert visible only from the air. The mystery of these huge figures in the desert continues even today.

Afternoon: tourist bus journey Nasca - Arequipa (9 hours)
13:00 Pm. You will be transferred to the bus station to baord the tourist bus to Arequipa.
Upon arrival in Arequipa you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 6: Arequipa - day to relax and acclimatize to the altitude (7,626 ft)

Afternoon: Guided tour of Arequipa
After lunch, you will be picked up from your hotel and have a half day guided tour of the beautiful colonial city of Arequipa that is surrounded by spectacular snow-covered mountains. The colonial buildings are built of "sillon" - a white volcanic rock - hence the nickname "the white city". Our tour includes an amazing view of the white city from Yanahuara Mirador, we continue onto Santa Catalina Monastery (a city within a city) and Molino de Sabandia.

Day 7: Colca Valley tour and private Trek into the Canyon.

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and start the amazing trip to Colca Valley and Canyon; on the way you pass through Pampa Cañahua Park where you will enjoy taking pictures of the unique South American camelids like the elegant Vicuñas, Alpacas, Llamas, and with some luck Guanacos and Vizacachas. This trip offers spectacular views of the most impressive Andean Volcanoes like Misti, Chachani and Ampato. After travelling for almost 6 hours, you arrive in the Andean village of Cabanaconde, where lunch will be ready. After a short break it is time to start your adventure into the deepest canyon in the world; you will descend more than 3000 feet down the canyon in almost 4 hours, then you arrive late afternoon in the village of San Juan de Chuccho where you spend the night in a basic but warm local cabin.

Day 8: San Juan de Chuccho – Sangalle – Cabanaconde

After breakfast, you have some time to interact with the locals then you continue the trek to Sangalle, on the way you stop by Tapay and Malata Quechua villages where you can interact with more Quechua folks, after 4 hours of hiking you arrive in Sangalle, the deepest point of the Colca Canyon!
After lunch, you will have time to swim in the pool of the Sangalle Oasis Lodge. You will have a good deserved rest before you start the trek upwards to Cabanaconde, you will ascend more than 3000 feet (Mules are available) in more than 3 hours, finally you arrive in Cabanaconde; where our driver will be waiting to drive you to Chivay.

Day 9: Condors-Arequipa - Puno

After an early breakfast, you will be driven to Cruz del Condor to observe the flight of this majestic Bird; which will need enough wind to start the show, yes, the flight of the Condors is absolutely fantastic!
After the flight of the Condor, you will continue enjoying views of the deepest canyon of the world with its Andean terraces, which have been used by the local farmers since pre-Inca times. Then we continue our way visiting Quechua villages and have views of some Pre-Inca Tombs.
After lunch, you will board the bus to Puno.
Upon arrival at Puno bus station you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel.

Day 10: Boat trip to Lake Titicaca/Overnight on Amantani Island

After Breakfast, you will be transferred to Puno pier to board the motor boat and start your adventure on the highest navigable Lake in the world, our first stop will be on the floating impressive Totora reed Islands of The Uros where you will see how these pre-Incan people live; we continue our journey through the lake till Amantani Island where you will learn about the Aymaras and spend the night with a local family of this Pre-Inca culture.

Day 11: Taquile Island (12960 ft) – Puno

After breakfast, we continue to Taquile Islands where you will learn more about Inca’s culture and traditions; their lifestyle remains the same as it has been for centuries with very little influence from modern times. Here you will find beautiful textiles and some of the best handicraft in the Inca region.
In the afternoon, we will return to Puno pier, from where you will be transferred to your hotel

Day 12: *Tourist bus journey Puno - Cusco (11,100 ft)

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the bus station to board the tourist bus to Cusco and have one of the most fabulous journeys through this beautiful route with spectacular views of the Andes Mountains and countryside, a memorable travel experience through the high Altiplano region! The bus journey includes visits to Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, La Raya and Pukara.

Day 13: Guided tour of Cusco and nearby Inca Ruins

Free morning to rest and relax.
14:00: this afternoon your guide will pick you up from your hotel and show you the highlights of Cusco, the colonial cathedral, the great temple of Korikancha and the 4 impressive Inca ruins around Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, with its massive walls, Qenko, site of carved living rock, Puca Pucara, an Inca lodging Site and Tambo Machay, known as the Baths of the Inca. You will learn more about the Incas’ secrets!

Day 14: Guided tour of the Incas’ sacred valley

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to start your adventure in the Incas’ sacred valley; today you will visit the famous Indian Market of Pisac where the local families sell their products and handicraft. The trip includes visits to Quechua colorful villages like Calca, Yanahuara, Urubamba, Yucay and others where you will be able to interact with the locals and learn about their ancient customs and traditions. After lunch, your guide will show you Ollantaytambo, this incredible Royal Inca site where the Incas made one of their last stands against the Spanish, a truly amazing Incas’ highlight. In order to have a more comfortable trip you will stay overnight in Ollantaytambo village, next morning you will board the train to Machu Picchu!

Day 15: Private Inca trail hike to Machu Picchu.

Am. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the train station to board the tourist train to Km 104, the starting point of our short trek to Machu Picchu. After passing the check point, we will have a four-hour hike to Wiñaywayna Ruins (Which means Forever Young in Quechua Language), the largest and most amazing Inca site of the Inca Trail, here you will have enough time to explore and enjoy the magic scenery.  After lunch, we continue our hike through the last part of the Inca trail crossing the stone threshold of Intipunku (Sun Gate at 8,957 ft/2,730 m) and have the most beautiful picture of Machu Picchu; we arrive in the Lost City late in the afternoon, but our private tour will be the next morning so we have the bus journey down to Aguas Calientes.

Day 16: Guided tour of Machu Picchu.

Early morning, we will have a short bus journey to Machu Picchu. You will have a guided tour of the most amazing and mysterious of all Inca Sites, you will learn about the history of this site, who lived there, how it was discovered in modern times and why the Spaniards never found it.   You will have some insight into the various features of the city and after that, you will have some free time to really enjoy yourself alone in this spectacularly located site, a lifetime experience that will stay with you forever! After enjoying Machu Picchu, you will board the bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have lunch before the train journey to Cusco.
Afternoon: Train journey back to Cusco.

Day 18: Start Manu adventure Tour

Early morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Manu by overland vehicles, on the way we will visit the Pre- Inca tombs of Ninamarca, commonly known as “Chullpas”. We continue our way to Paucartambo, a picturesque Spanish colonial village; then we reach the Acjanacu pass, which marks the beginning of Manu cloud forest. This area has a thick cloak of clouds which provide the perfect humid habitat for epiphytic plants such as bromeliads. Here we will find not only orchids but also the unique Cock of the Rock, the Spectacled Bear, Tree Ferns (one of the oldest living plants), mosses and lichens. This unique area is located between 6560 ft and 11490 ft above sea level and 50% of the plant species found here are endemic to this region.

Day 19: Manu Cultural Zone 

Very early in the morning we will observe the Cock-of-the-Rock (Rupicola peruviana), Peru’s national bird. Yes, at 5 in the morning the male birds which can be recognized by their vibrant reddish orange color come together for an exhibition of a ritual mating dance in a comfortably installed observation platform called “Lek”. The males display their crest, showing off and posturing for the females. The females, fewer in number, watch to select the most suitable males.
After breakfast we continue our drive through a narrow road surrounded by waterfalls and canyons toward Pilcopata (Here in Pilcopata you can do 1 ½ hour white water rafting down to Erika Lodge, class I and II) for approx 2 hours approximately then a 30 minute journey to Atalaya port where we will board our covered outboard motor boat and head down the Alto Madre de Dios River for approximately 15 minutes toward our private reserve of “Erika Lodge” where we will spend the next two nights.

Day 20: Manu

After breakfast, we will start walking near the riverbanks, during the hike our guide will tell us about insects, medicinal plants, trees, reptiles, mammals, etc. In the early afternoon we will have a short boat trip to visit a small lake near to the Alto Madre de Dios River, here we will have the chance to see the Hoatzin, a primitive bird, white caimans, many species of birds, insects, and more. Day 21: Manu Cusco 

Today we will have a very early wake up to board our boat for a very short trip to the Collpa a Parrot clay lick on the riverbanks where we will observe the blue headed parrot, white-eyed parakee eating clay along the riverbanks. Then we continue to Atalaya Port where we will board our bus to Cusco, arriving late at night. Upon arrival in Cusco you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 22: Flight Cusco – Lima

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to board your morning flight to Lima.
Upon arrival at Lima airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Miraflores, the bustling, cosmopolitan area of the city from where you will start your afternoon Lima tour.

After lunch, you will be driven downtown into the city of the Kings; your English speaking guide will show you the colonial houses adorned with Moorish-style balconies, Plaza San Martin, Plaza de Armas, the baroque cathedral, Palacio de Gobierno (Governors Palace), the Archbishop's Palace with its big carved wooden balconies, and the convent of San Francisco. Underneath the convent lie extensive catacombs that served as the cemetery for the whole of Lima during the colonial period!

Evening flight back home
You will be picked up from Miraflores center and transferred to the airport to board your flight back home.
