This tour offers you a unique opportunity to explore the exciting world of the Inca Civilization by visiting the most iconic Inca sites dating back to the 12th century!

Your 12-day lifetime experience starts with a short flight to Cusco city, the ancient capital of the Incan Empire. From here you will explore the sacred valley of the Incas and then embark on a wonderful train journey to the lost city of Machu Picchu, the greatest archaeological site in South America!

This memorable experience continues with a lifetime journey through the Peruvian Andes toward Lake Titicaca, considered the cradle of the Inca Civilization. Visiting the floating islands of Uros is just awesome!

Finally, you travel to the northern Andes and reach Cajamarca city, here is where Atahualpa, the Inca ruler, was captured by the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro and the decline of the Inca Empire started. Nowadays you can still enjoy the Inca thermal Baths.

Day 1: Arrive in Lima

Once your flight lands at Jorge Chavez International airport, follow the signs to immigration and then to customs. After exiting customs, you will be in the International arrivals area where you are met by our representative, who will be holding a sign with your name, and driven to your hotel located in Miraflores area, one of the safest and nicest neighborhoods of Lima.

Upon arrival at your hotel, our English Speaking Staff will welcome you and assist you with all you may need.

Day 2: Flight Lima - Cusco

After breakfast, you are picked up from your hotel and transported to Lima airport to board your morning flight to Cusco city.

Upon arrival at Cusco airport, you are met by our representative, who will be holding a sign with your name, and driven to your hotel located in the center area of Cusco.
You will have time to rest and adjust to the altitude.

Day 3: Guided tour of the Incas’ sacred valley

After breakfast, you are picked up from your hotel and join your tour group to start an exciting guided adventure in the sacred valley of the Incas!
Your tour starts with a smooth drive to the valley of the Incas, on the way you will enjoy the stunning views of snow-capped mountains, green hills, and the beautiful fields of Giant corns, potatoes, beans and wheat.
Your guide will show you the highlights of the Inca Ruins of Pisac and then continue with a visit to the famous Pisac Market, here you can see the local families selling their products and handicraft. The trip includes visits to Quechua colorful villages like Yucay and Ollantaytambo where you will be able to interact with the locals and learn about their ancient customs and traditions.
After lunch, your guide will show you the amazing Inca site of Ollantaytambo, here the Incas made one of their last stands against the Spanish.
In order to have a more comfortable trip you will stay overnight in Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town that keeps its stone walls and is still inhabited nowadays!
Next morning you will board the train to Machu Picchu

Day 4: Machu Picchu by train

After an early breakfast, you are picked up from your hotel and transported to Ollantaytambo train station to board the Vista dome train to Aguas Calientes (the base town to explore Machu Picchu).

Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes train station you are met by our staff that will assist you to board the bus to Machu Picchu.
After a 25-minute bus journey, you arrive in Machu Picchu city. Now, your private English speaking guide will embark you on an adventure of a lifetime that brings you back to the 15th century.
You will explore the most majestic Icon of the Inca civilization, walk through its narrow streets, learn about the history of this site, life of the Incas, and why it is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World!
You will have free time to continue exploring the amazing architectural structures of Machu Picchu and enjoy the wonderful views of the Incas’ world.
After visiting Machu Picchu, you board the bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have lunch before boarding the train to Cusco.

Day 5: Guided tour of Cusco and nearby Inca Ruins

This afternoon, you are picked up from your hotel and join your tour group to visit the beautiful city of Cusco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site! You start with a smooth walk to the main attractions of this Inca city, its main square known as Plaza de Armas, then the Cusco Cathedral which construction started in 1559 and has an impressive unique collection of more than 400 paintings from Cusco school made during the 16th and 17th century. Next, you walk through the narrow Inca streets close the Plaza and appreciate the massive Inca walls which are the foundations of Cusco city.
Your tour includes a visit to the most impressive Inca temples, Koricancha, which is known as the temple of the sun. During the Inca time, the walls of this temple were lined in sheets of solid gold and its courtyard was decorated with statues and ornaments of gold! You tour includes a visit to Santo Domingo Church built by the Spanish colonists.

After visiting the city of Cusco we will head to Sacsayhuaman, an amazing Inca fortress which main walls perfectly fitted, were built with massive stones. You will learn more about the Incas’ secrets, we continue to Qenko, site of carved living rock then to Puca Pucara, an Inca lodging Site and finally Tambo Machay, known as the Baths of the Inca. At the end you will have an amazing view of the Inca city and surrounding areas.

Day 6: Tourist bus journey Cusco - Puno

After breakfast, you are picked up from your hotel and transported to the bus station to board the tourist bus to Puno and have one of the most fabulous journeys with spectacular views of the Andes Mountains and countryside. The bus journey includes visits to Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, La Raya and Pukara.

Day 7: Boat trip on Lake Titicaca

After Breakfast, you are picked up from your hotel to join your tour group and transferred to Puno pier and board the boat to start your adventure on the highest navigable Lake in the world.
You will travel by speed boat to the floating islands of Uros, this group of more than forty islands are inhabited by pre-Incan families, who are known as the children of the sun. Your adventure continues across the lake until reaching Taquile Island, here you will learn more about Inca’s culture and traditions; their lifestyle remains the same as it has been for centuries with very little influence from modern times. Here you will find beautiful textiles and some of the best handicraft in the Inca region.
In the afternoon, we will return to Puno pier, from where you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 8: Lake Catamaran to Sun Island (Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca)

After Breakfast, you are picked up from your hotel to join your tour group and driven to Copacabana village in Bolivia, where you will board the Catamaran Cruise Ship and visit the Sun Island, the birthplace of the Inca Civilization! This impressive Inca region offers you unique vistas of the Incas’ lake while sailing to the Sun Island, that is considered the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire, a unique lifetime experience! You will have the opportunity to interact with one of the most unspoiled indigenous Titicaca villages. In the afternoon, you will be driven back to Puno and transferred to your hotel.

Day 9: Flight Juliaca - Lima

After breakfast, you are picked up from your hotel and transported to Juliaca airport to board your morning flight to Lima city.

Upon arrival at Lima airport, you are met by our representative, who will be holding a sign with your name, and driven to your hotel located in the bustling, cosmopolitan Miraflores area of the city.
Afternoon guided tour of Pachacamac sacred city
After lunch, you are picked up from your hotel to join your tour group and be driven to Pachacamac, one of the most important pre-Inca and Incan ceremonial Centers on the Peruvian coast, you will explore its plazas, pyramids and temples; the Temple of the Sun was built during the Inca Civilization and is one of the best preserved buildings of this archaeological complex. The site museum that displays pieces found during the excavation.

Day 10: Flight Lima - Cajamarca

After breakfast, you are picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to board your early morning flight to Cajamarca city.

Upon arrival at Cajamarca airport, you are met by our representative, who will be holding a sign with your name, and driven to your hotel located in the center area of the city.

This afternoon you are picked up from your hotel to start your tour of this Inca city, you will appreciate the lovely churches built during the colonial era between the 17th and 18th century. Your visit will cover the San Francisco Church, the Santa Catalina Church, the Belén (Bethlehem) Monument Complex, and the “Cuarto del Rescate” which was filled with pieces of gold to obtain Atahualpa’s freedom.

Day 11: Ventanillas de Otuzco and Incas’ Bath 

After breakfast you are picked up from your hotel and driven to Otuzco, a pre-inca necropolis located only 5 miles from Cajamarca, this incredible place has more than 300 funerary niches carved out of solid rock!

Day 12: Flight Cajamarca - Lima

After breakfast, you are picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to board your morning flight to Lima.

Upon arrival at Lima airport, you are met by our representative, who will be holding a sign with your name, and driven to Miraflores, where you can have a nice meal overlooking the Pacific Ocean and then start your Lima tour.
Lima Tour
This afternoon, you are picked up from Miraflores Park to join your tour group and be driven to the city of the Kings. You will enjoy the walks through colonial Lima while enjoying its beautiful monuments, Colonial houses adorned with Moorish-style balconies, their main Plazas like San Martin and Plaza de Armas, a view the baroque cathedral, the Governors Palace, the Archbishop's Palace with its big carved wooden balconies, and a guided visit inside the convent of San Francisco which is home to the largest collection of religious art in the Americas. Underneath the convent lie extensive catacombs that served as the cemetery during the colonial period.
Your tour includes a visit to the beautiful olive tree park and park of love where you will have a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean!
Evening flight back home
You will be transported to the airport to board your flight back home.
